Casual Chic

Definition of this Style

The "casual chic" style is a harmonious blend of elegance and casualness. It combines classic or sophisticated pieces with simpler or more comfortable pieces to create a look that's both refined and natural, without being overly formal. For example, you can pair a well-cut blazer with raw-edge jeans, or a basic T-shirt with an elegant skirt.

This style is often adopted for casual business settings, outings with friends or informal events where one wants to appear well-groomed without being stuffy.

HAIRDRESSING: Here Ophidia is wearing her mid-length dark brown wig which matches her natural hair color.

BLOUSE: My white blouse is slightly translucent, revealing the white lace bra and the pink ostrich leather belt at the waist.

JACKET: I'm wearing a 1970s Nappa pork crust leather jacket.

PANTS:For the bottom, you need jeans that aren't too tight around the legs. I wear mine with a pink ostrich leather belt to contrast the very casual look of the blue jeans with this sophisticated leather.

SHOES: On the feet, you can choose from a variety of stylish shoes, such as sleek white sneakers, loafers, ankle boots, or these Irregular Choice shoes with a reasonable heel.
